I believe the Christmas story

So, I’m a Christian and I believe in the Christmas story in the bible.

To describe it in brief terms, the story tells of the all-powerful God of the Universe choosing to come to earth as a baby, in complete humility and dependence on the ones that He created.

Just take a moment to think about that…

When you take a step back and think about it, the Christmas story is actually quite an outrageous thing to believe. Perhaps you think I’m completely crazy.

But if it is true, it has a lot of implications for us. That would mean that the God of all gods who is in charge of everything, is an outrageously generous and relational God who has gone to great lengths just to be with us. It would mean He has a love that we can’t even wrap our heads around. And this changes everything!

So maybe you think I’m crazy, or maybe you believe it too. Perhaps you’re not sure, and that’s okay. I would just encourage you to pursue Him for yourself and find out. Just look at the lengths He went to to reach us and save us – He’s not going to stop short with you. His arms are open wide! 

May you have a fresh revelation of the baby in the manger this Christmas, inspiring you to be even more full of faith, and may you experience the peace and the joy of the Lord this season.
